In July 1999,
the Nanshan pastureland, which is a modern natural
pastureland on highland in South China and the shareholder
of Huan Yahua Seeds Co., Ltd., entered the stock market
successfully. Based on the Nanshan Pastureland, Yahua
Seeds established the Yahua Nanshan Green Food Development
Sub-Company, with total fixed assets of 260 million
Yuan RMB and the main business and production focused
on“Nanshan” Milk Powder. And the former company is
the Hunan Nanshan Pastureland Dairy Factory, which
was built in 1978.
Nanshan Pastureland is the biggest modern natural
pastureland on highland in South China and the Pointed
National Green Food Production Base. With natural
purity, Nanshan Powder has been regarded by the consumers
as “the Green Food Grown from the Pure Land in South
China”. Yahua Nanshan Dairy Technology Zone is one
the first class dairy development centers and production
bases in our country, with a nationally advanced production
equipment system, which can produce over 10,000 tons
of milk powder. Besides the advancement in equipments,
Nanshan Dairy Base has also successfully passed the
international and domestic authentications of ISO9001
quality system with standardized and well-organized
management.
After over 20 years of development, the “Nanshan”
brand has got more than 40 kinds of products, including
milk powder tins, bags and different sizes of packages.
What’s more, we now keep developing the liquid milk
bottles and antiseptic paper bags, so as to fulfill
the ever increasing needs of our customers. And the
Trademark “Nanshan” has been listed as one of the
most popular brands and famous trademarks in Hunan.
The “Nanshan” AD Calcium Milk and other 8 products
have been recognized by the China Green Food Development
Center as the green foods. In 2002, “Nanshan” 400-g,
450-g and 900-g infant prescribed milk powders was
listed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision
, Inspection and Quarantine as the “Product Free of
Quarantine”. In May 2003, judged by the expert team
of Hunan Science and Technology Bureau, the “Bushanghuo”
series of “Nanshan” Milk Powders were acknowledged
as the Biological and Medical High-tech Products,
which were accepted because of the easy dissolution
with cold water and avoidance of overstock of nutrition,
as well as the technical capacity of the products.
In the year of 2003, the “Nanshan” brand was given
many awards, such as the “Safety Brand of Chinese
Food”, “Popular Dairy Brand for Hunan Consumers”,
“Reliable Brand for Hunan Consumers” and so on.
The Hunan Yahua Dairy Marketing Co., Ltd. was established
in January 2001, with the registered capital of 40
million Yuan RMB. The quick development of Yahua Dairy
could not be a real one if there were not an excellent
marketing team, which successfully made the brand
of “Nanshan” the most active one in the country with
great popularity, within just several years. And now
the company has been regarded as a dark horse in the
whole dairy industry. The milk powder sales network
of the company has covered 29 provinces, autonomous
regions and municipalities, excluding Qinghai, Ningxia
and 3 special economic zones. More over, 100% of the
local and country markets, as well as over 60% of
the village and town markets, on the southern part
of Yangtze River and 90% of the markets above county
level, together with the key markets, on the southern
areas of Yellow River have also been covered. Currently
the company has developed and been managing 296 dealers
and 362 distributors. The market share in 2003 reached
around 6.7%, with the number for the key regional
markets as 12%. The sales income has jumped from 10
million in 1996 to 780 million Yuan RMB, which is
about 5.2% of the total sales income of the country
on milk powder. The market share of the company in
Hunan Province is 40% with the retailer sales amount
counted as the 4th in this industry on the domestic
market.
Changsha Binjiale Dairy Company is the earliest
enterprise in Hunan Province dealing with the manufacturing
of dairy products, infant foods and student products,
with the “Binjiale” liquid milk product enjoying an
excellent reputation and market share on the Hunan
(especially Changsha) Market. The former company of
it was the Changsha Milk Company, which was established
in 1970. The trademark “Binjiale” has been recognized
by the Hunan Administration of Industry and Commerce
as the “Well-known Trademark”of Hunan, while the 400-g
bag infant prescribed milk powder listed by the General
Administration of Quality Supervision , Inspection
and Quarantine as the “Product Free of Quarantine”.
In December 2001, based on the advantages of market
influence, capital and human resource of Huan Yahua
Seeds Co., Ltd., as well as the brand effects, production
technology and marketing network of Changsha Binjiale
Dairy Co., Ltd., the Hunan Yahua Binjiale Dairy Co.
Ltd. was formed, with a registered capital of 67 million
Yuan RMB, among which 70% was held by Yahua Seeds
and 30% by Changsha Binjiale Dairy Co., Ltd.
Hunan Yahua Binjiale Dairy Co., Ltd. is a leading
company of dairy production, supply and sale in Hunan
Province, combining the businesses of cow raising,
dairy manufacturing and industrial development. So
is it a business leader in the agricultural industrialization,
acknowledged by the secondary governments of the province
and cities. In 2001 the company entrusted 30% of its
stock rights to Yahua Seeds, which succeeded to purchase
another 29% of Binjiale in October 2003 and established
the new Hunan Yahua Dairy Co., Ltd. In this way, Nanshan
and Yahua Binjiale were combined effectively, with
unified management and joint marketing powers, so
as to improve the competitiveness of the company in
the severe market competition in the Dairy Industry.
By the end of December, the combination work had been
finished completely.
In May 2003, the Hulunbei’er Yahua Dairy Co., Ltd.
was established in the Chenba’erhu County of Inner-Mongolia.
As a result, the two bottleneck problems in the company
development of Yahua Dairy, Milk Source and Productivity,
have been greatly eased.
